About Us

Hello! 

I'm Savannah the owner of Axel's Pixels. Chris and I started Axel’a Pixels in 2019 as a way for me to continue to be a stay at home mom. Axel our 3 year old son was born very premature and had to spend 5 months in the NICU before coming home. After 2 years of in and out of hospitals, doctors offices and traveling up to 9 hours one way for some doctors I could no longer hold an 8-5 job and take care of our son. Since Axel was born I've had a passion for small shops and getting to support moms that I knew, so this transition was easy. Axel is still on oxygen and has a feeding tube so staying at home for me seemed to be the answer. So at the end of 2018 we started designing what would be Axel's Pixels first camera design and opened shop in February 2019!

We hand make and hand paint all of our wooden toys. We spend countless hours in the garage building each item special for your orders and I am so glad that this allows me to provide for my son and get to stay at home with him.
